According to multiple reports a shooting occurred at Arrowhead Saturday morning involving an unidentified Kansas City Chiefs player. KCTV5’s Laura McCallister is also reporting that same Chiefs player first shot and killed his girlfriend around 8AM CT then drove to Arrowhead where he shot and killed himself.
ESPN is reporting that no other individuals were injured and police have yet to release the identity of the player.
Danny Parkins of KMBZ said that police have confirmed that the unidentified player was 25 years of age and was confronted by Chiefs coaches before putting the gun to his head and committing suicide.

The Chiefs have released the following statement.
“We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning. We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation.”
UPDATE: Reports are confirming that the unidentified Chiefs player is four-year veteran Jovan Belcher.
Chief LB Jovian Belcher was involved in a shooting involving at least one other person outside the team’s facility today, source said…
