Further titles A MUST in Big Three era of Miami Heat

Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James especially got a huge monkey off their back Thursday night when they were able to finally deliver an NBA title to the City of Miami in the Big Three era.

Not only that though the Heat did it in convincing fashion disposing of the upstart Oklahoma City Thunder in five games with a very convincing win to close things out.

LeBron James was phenomenal throughout the entire finals further being recognized as the Finals’ MVP and silencing many of his critics.

But from the standpoint of the Big Three as a whole, enjoy this Championship, you certainly deserved it however don’t enjoy it for too long.

Simply stated this team was obviously built to win multiple championships and winning just one or two could be seen as a failure.

I question what Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant’s careers might look if they won just one NBA title? Furthermore in some cases this Miami Heat team should be better than some of those dynasty teams from the past. LeBron James has his Scottie Pippen in Dwyane Wade who is better than Scottie Pippen. And with that said they’ve also got a Chris Bosh who although isn’t a super star is still an extremely good player in the league. You add other factors in there like a Udonis Haslem or Mario Chalmers and whatever other players the Heat’s front office is able to add in the offseason, there’s no excuses the Heat have in not winning multiple titles.

Thursday night was a nice first step for the Heat and The Big Three, but if it’s the only step 2012 would be forgotten about real quick and The Big Three would be seen for the most part as a failure.
