The Detroit Tigers welcomed an important bat back into the lineup Tuesday night, and Gleyber Torres didn’t take long to remind everyone what they had been missing.
Activated from the 10-day injured list earlier in the day, Torres stepped to the plate for his first at-bat since returning and immediately delivered, launching a home run against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Obviously the Tigers need offense, something that was seriously lacking in what was a disastrous May to say the absolute very least.
I guess we need to talk this all one game at a time.
