Washington Commanders defensive tackle Daron Payne had his one-game suspension upheld by the NFL today following his ejection Sunday for punching Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Payne has continued to insist that St. Brown struck him first and shared a video on Instagram earlier today that he claims supports his side of the story.

The NFL has not commented on Payne’s post, though it’s worth noting that a referee was positioned nearby when the incident occurred.
