Bears’ DJ Moore Hospitalized After Win Over Commanders

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore was hospitalized Monday night in the Washington D.C. area following a hard hit during their 25-24 victory over the Commanders. The injury occurred along the sideline in the first quarter, after one of his three receptions, when Moore appeared to be in clear discomfort.

The Bears confirmed he was transported by ambulance for precautionary medical attention, and that he will remain in the hospital overnight. No specific diagnosis has yet been released.

In the game, Moore logged 42 receiving yards on three catches. Through five games this season, he has tallied 19 receptions for 215 yards and one touchdown.

Moore, a veteran receiver drafted 24th overall in 2018, has now played 119 career games (112 starts) between the Carolina Panthers and the Bears, amassing 577 catches for 7,746 yards and 36 touchdowns.

The Bears are expected to provide further updates on Moore’s condition as the week progresses. Meanwhile, his status for upcoming matchups remains uncertain.
