It’s amazing the amount of shit Jared Goff and the Lions still currently get even when sitting at the top of the NFL.
Take for instance Nick Wright who on Fox Sports’ “First Things First” referred to the Lions signal caller as a “civilian” quarterback who essentially negates any consideration that the Lions are the best team in the NFL and furthermore more will fail to win anything with a player like him under center.
As Wright tried to premise his statement with the “don’t be mad bro, it’s just my opinion”, I’m not going to be mad, I’m just going to point and laugh at the clown with shitty opinions.
What the Lions with Goff at QB have done isn’t some flash-in-the-pan devoid of any meaningful sample size. This team has been good for almost two full seasons now. Lets also not forget that Goff already beat the Chiefs on the road and led a team to a Super Bowl appearance in a worse position as a player than what he has now in Detroit.
There’s a lot of people out there still incredibly uncomfortable with the Lions not only being good but probably the best team in the league as it stands right now.
