I’m sure we’ve all been in debt at one point in our life. Hell I’m still paying off student loans and probably will be for years to come. I’m sure probably at one point as well we’ve probably had to part with something in order to generate some funds to pay off some of those debts.
Imagine though drowning in over $12 million dollars in debt and having to sell something you’ve worked you whole life to get.
Those are the problems facing former NBA player and D-Leaguer Antoine Walker.
At one point during his career Walker made over $108 million in just his NBA salary but now owes $12.7 million dollars in debt. And to help pay this off, Walker was forced to sell 2006 Championship ring for an estimated $21,500.
It’s still hard to feel sorry for these guys. Nothing lasts forever, including an NBA career.
