The deal for the 30-year-old right-hander who spent last season with the Angels is for one-year and $8.5 million dollars tweets Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic with incentives that could tack on another $1.5 million to the contract.
In 18 starts with LA, Lorenzen went 8-6 with a 4.24 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 85 strikeouts over 97.2 innings pitched.
