It’s been quite a week for Detroit City FC.
Aside from playing their third match in the past week last night beating the Hartford Athletic in dramatic fashion 2-1, the DCFC men’s side secured arguably the biggest win in Club history last Tuesday with a 2-1 win over the Columbus Crew of MLS.
Sunday, City midfielder Maxi Rodriguez — who tallied both goals for Detroit Tuesday along with DCFC co-owner Alex Wright joined WDIV’s Devin Scillian for Flashpoint. During the appearance Rodriguez and Wright discussed the massive win along with the remarkable rise of the Club who was third-division just last year and an amateur side in the fourth-division three seasons ago.
