According to HockeyTradeRumors.com and the Detroit Free Press The Hockey News has released it’s rankings of the top 50 
players in the NHL and Detroit’s Pavel Datsyuk comes in at number four. The only players that are ranked ahead of him are Pittsburgh’s Sidney Crosby, Washington’s Alexander Ovechkin and Buffalo’s Ryan Miller.
It seems as though this list was more in line with fantasy numbers citing that Datsyuk had a down year last year but should bounce back this upcoming season.
It’s good that Datsyuk is getting some recognition across the league for his dangerous play making ability.
