It’s a new beginning in Detroit with the Red Wings in more ways than one.
Not only do they embark on a new season but they also do it with Steve Yzerman captaining the ship once again, this time though from the front office as the teams general manager.
However after a relatively quiet offseason, will Red Wings fans see any kind of immediate results in this new Yzerman era? Or will fans have to continue to the ‘trust the process’ as Yzerman tries to replicate that success he had in Tampa Bay with the Lightning.
