Terrance Williams โ the 6-foot-6, 215-pound power forward out of Washington D.C. โ has gotten his fair share of attention at the Peach Jam this past weekend, some of which has come from new Michigan head coach Juwan Howard and assistant Phil Martelli.
So much attention in fact the Wolverines have offered the 2020 four-star prospect a chance to play in Ann Arbor.
โ(July) is going to be a very busy month for us,โ Howard said. โMe and my staff will be out (on the road recruiting). In LA, the Adidas Gauntlet tournament. Weโll be out there in Anaheim watching that. Thereโs the Peach Jam, Nike is holding a big event that theyโve put on for many years. A lot of talented ball players go out there and compete in that. The Peach Jam is also located in Augusta, Georgia, let me not forget to say that. Thereโs another event held in Atlanta, and weโve got pretty lucky with that one. Thereโs a tournament that Under Armour is hostingโฆ Itโs going to be a very busy time.โ
Although the Wolverines havenโt been among Williamsโ top schools, Stock Risersโ Jake Weingarten tweeted today that the No. 82 ranked (per 247Sports) prospect has added Michigan to his final list of schools.
Securing Williams would be the second big get for Juwan Howard after nailing down top-50 prospect Franz Wagner, brother of former Wolverine Moritz Wagner.
