Four people were injured and three taken into custody after a shooting at the Toronto Raptors victory parade in Nathan Phillips Square Monday.
With an estimated two million fans in attendance to celebrate, parade-goers could be seen in a frenzy as panic ensured over the crowd.
Luckily none of the victims had life threatening injuries, two of the four did suffer serious wounds as a result. Furthermore, as you can see from the sheer size of the crowd, it was really quite amazing no one else was injured from the stampede that could have occurred as a result of the panic.
Last week the Raptors captured their first NBA title after defeated the defending champion Golden State Warriors in six games.
