Michigan wasn’t the only local team effected by Saturday’s thunderstorms. Down the road from Ann Arbor Eastern Michigan was forced to postpone their season opener against Howard due to the same severe weather that ended up cutting short the Western Michigan/Michigan game from The Big House.
After EMU officials were able to secure hotel accomodations for the Howard contingent, the game was rescheduled for Sunday at noon eastern from Rynearson Stadium. Admission is reported to be free of charge.
