Ansar Khan of Mlive.com writes that Red Wings goaltender Chris Osgood will not return during the teams five game road trip however hopes to play the first game after the trip on March 9th when they play Los Angeles.
“That’s the day I’m shooting for, but I can’t guarantee if I will be or not,” Osgood said.
Osgood has been working himself back into the lineup after having sports hernia surgery on January 11th.
