Are the Dolphins cutting Ndamukong Suh because he’s an asshole?

Or is the fact that Ndamukong Suh is going to be making $26.1 million dollars next season?

In any sense, the Miami Dolphins look primed to cut Suh, a former three-time All-Pro after signing him to a massive six-year, $114.4 million contract back in 2015. According to ESPN Miami is citing the need for a ‘culture change’ which may or may not be a louder than normal dog whistle signaling Suh, his huge cap hit and less than six sacks over the past three seasons isn’t worth putting up with a guy who’s developed reputation of being an asshole on and off the field.

Via ESPN:

Suh has a history of being fined for player-safety violations. The only two games Suh missed in his career were due to a suspension after he stomped on then-Green Bay offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith in 2011. Suh was initially suspended for Detroit’s playoff game against Dallas in 2015 before his suspension was overturned and replaced with a $70,000 fine for stepping on the calf and ankle of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

However if the Dolphins are looking to cut the former 2010 second overall pick it may not come until after June 1st when Miami would save $17 million against the cap instead of the $3.9 million if he was to be released now. However there has been some talk that Suh’s release could come as early as today but that seems rather pointless unless a trade can be worked out given the savings now as opposed to post June 1st.

Anyways, Suh looks like he’s anticipating a release from the Dolphins and a possible landing spot in Seattle with the Seahawks based off this video he posted on Twitter.
