Jadeveon Clowney seems to be making the most out of the controversy surrounding the Texans from this past week. This is because the the linebacker was more than likely taking a shot at Texans owner Bob McNair after Clowney showed up to the team’s Halloween party dressed in an orange inmate jumpsuit.
Here’s video of the hilarity via TMZ Sports:
Clowney’s costume of choice stems (probably) from McNair’s comments last week when the Texans owner described the NFL player protest during the National Anthem as a case of the “inmates running the prison”.
That bigoted backhand from McNair caused a further uproar especially within his own team who saw the majority of players kneel during the Anthem Sunday and even had DeAndre Hopkins leave practice in the aftermath of the comments.
McNair has since issued an apology and clarification on his comments which obviously still hasn’t gone over well with the Texans squad.
