The WWE has released superstar Austin Aries per the company’s website who wished him the “best in his future endeavors”.
However there’s speculation that Aries asked for his release based on what he tweeted out just before the announcement was made.

Aries was a pivotal member of the WWE’s cruiserweight division feuding with Neville before ultimately losing to the “King of the Cruiserweights” and dropped from the title picture. If Aries did in fact ask for his release it’s plausible his dissatisfaction stemmed from not being able to get ahead of the game in what has been a failed venture for the WWE thus far in the Cruiserweight division and 205 Live.
