Baylor may have come out on top when it came to the final score with Rice Friday nigh, but it was the Owl marching band that has people talking Saturday morning.
During the halftime show, the Rice marching band paid a “tribute” to the Baylor sexual assault scandal – also known as the Title IX Violations – by forming a giant IX in front of the visitors section.

Normally you might think this is in poor taste, especially if you believe the Rice marching band was trying to make light of the situation. Or you could look at it the other way and say Rice is further bringing to light a subject that a good Christian school like Baylor is trying to ignore for the betterment of their precious football team.
Whether it’s Baylor, Penn State, Miami, etc, too many times have these scumbag Universities been let off the hook just because they have a nice athletic following. If Baylor wants to be pissed off, be pissed off at Art Briles, the NCAA and the fans who continue to look the other way.
