Greg Johnson of the Grand Rapids Press reports that top MSU Football recruit Lawrence Thomas hurt his shoulder in practice three days ago and will miss about a week. Meanwhile returning starting cornerback Johnny Adams turned an ankle and is expected to miss a few days.

According to Johnson, Thomas was a little freaked when he first suffered the injury since he was never really injured while playing in high school.

โ€œI thought it was bad at first, but itโ€™s just a little sprain,โ€ Thomas said. โ€œIโ€™ll be back soon.โ€

On the other side of things, cornerback Johnny Adams continues to play well in practice and head coach Mark Dantonio didnโ€™t seem to concerned with him missing a few days.

โ€œItโ€™s an ankle, and he will be fine,โ€ Dantonio said. โ€œHeโ€™s continued to play at a high level.โ€

Johnson adds that highly touted freshman wide receiver Juwan Caesar arrived to camp with an undisclosed injury and has not practiced yet.
