Villanova flat out embarrassed Oklahoma this evening routing the Sooners 95-51 for a trip to the National Championship Game Monday night against the winner of the Syracuse/North Carolina game.
The Wildcats (34-5) used a .714 night from the field to hammer Oklahoma by 44 points marking the largest margin of victory in Final Four history. Additionally, the Nova, Oklahoma blowout is 10 points better than the largest blowout in elimination game history while also marking the biggest margin of victory this tournament surpassing the 39 point win Oregon enjoyed over Holy Cross.

Aside from the field goal differential, Villanova dominated in just about every aspect of the game. The Wildcats were 11/18 from downtown while out rebounding the Sooners 32-26 which was especially lopsided on the defensive side of things as Oklahoma was pounded on the glass 25-10.
Josh Hart scored 23 points for Nova who held a 42-28 lead just at the half and didn’t take the pedal off even in the second scoring 53 more points while holding Oklahoma to just 23.
Meanwhile Buddy Hield was limited to just nine points in 36 minutes.
