The Las Vegas Raiders? It may not be out of the realm of possibilities.
According Jon Ralston of Ralston Reports, Raiders officials will travel to Sin City Friday to scout potential relocation sites in and around the city since their bid to relocate to Los Angeles has ultimately failed and a long-term future in Oakland looks bleak.
Among the sites the Raiders are reportedly looking at is a 42-acre plot of land that was recently acquired by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. University president Len Jessup also went on to say that another possible location could be a new special events stadium located in Southern Nevada.
What’s ironic is the loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars in the casinos won’t be the prime reason for causing people to want to take a flying leap of off the top of Caesar’s Palace. Now residents of Las Vegas will be subjected to Raiders games.
