The NHL released their 2016 All-Star Game rosters which will feature a new 3-on-3 tournament style format pitting each division against each other. It’s an interesting idea as the NHL continues to shake up their own All-Star format something they certainly doesn’t get enough credit for. Not to mention the NHL is the only major sports organization in North America that get’s their approach to the All-Star game right. The NHL also knows when it’s time to move on from a gimmick before it gets old and tired.
