Indians top prospect Francisco Lindor seemed to be a little anxious after his first career Major League hit this afternoon against Tigers closer Joakim Soria. So much so what looked to be a sure double ended up being a single after Lindor wiped out trying to stretch out the hit.
The embarrassment prompted him to try and blame Miguel Cabrera but the only thing the first base umpire could do was laugh.
The Indians ended up losing 8-1 in the rubber match from Comerica.
