If there was a dumbass award in the NFL, Chicago defensive lineman Lamarr Houston would be a big time candidate to win this week’s honors.
Why?
Well, Mr. Houston — who was very vocal in the Bears’ locker room last weekend after their loss to Miami — appeared to pull a Stephen Tulloch and injure himself after sacking Patriots backup QB Jimmy Garoppolo.
However Houston isn’t a total tool for celebrating. Unlike the NFL I’m all for the emotion in an emotional game. The problem was Houston’s celebration came while the Bears were getting blown out by the tune of 48-23 late in the game. And not to mention it was the sack of a backup QB.
