Nebraska avoided utter disaster Saturday afternoon with a 31-24 win over McNeese State in Lincoln. However the win came in a last minute run from Ameer Abdullah that was more than just a run, it was bouncing off defenders and basically all the wrong ways to bring down your opponent. Nonetheless it was an extraordinary effort that certainly saved Nebraska’s season. It also took tremendous pressure off the rest of the Big Ten like Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State who each were playing much better opponents.
