Śląsk Wrocław and Zagłębie Lubin of the Polish soccer league held a match over the weekend and we all know how these events usually produce some kind of crazy incident.
There was no exception here as fans in the stands waived flags and for some reason flares which automatically adds to the instability of what’s going on.
Well if you fast forward to the 1:38 mark of the video below you’ll see a security guard spray a fan with pepper spray in the lower left hand corner. The only problem with that aside from the burning sensation in the eyes is the burning sensation all over the body considering pepper spray is flammable when mixed with those damn flares.
I’m sure there’s multiple lessons learned here. Then again it is European soccer.
