Oregon head coach Brian Fish accused an Arizona State fan of spitting on him (Fish) as well as an athletic trainer during their loss on the road. According to the Oregonian, Fish notified security of the incident who ended up finding fan in question. Fish also declined to any press charges:
“I didn’t want any charges, just for him to be scared (witless),” Fish said. “We all deserve second chances, he’s a college kid. But that was completely uncalled for.”
The fan though didn’t go unpunished with ESPN reporting that the fan lost their season tickets.
