Since it’s 2014 the Richard Sherman and Michael Crabtree feud spilled over to Twitter after last night’s confrontation and subsequent post game Sherman rant to Erin Andrews.
First according to Richard Sherman’s brother the ground work for the feud began in 2013 during Larry Fitzgerald’s Charity Event. Sherman apparently tried to shake Crabtree’s hand who instead wanted to start a fight.
Sherman has been upset with Crabtree since last summer. Both attended Arizona star receiver Larry Fitzgerald’s charity event. While there, Sherman went to shake Crabtree’s hand, and Crabtree tried to start a fight, according to Sherman’s older brother, Branton.
“I’m going to make a play and embarrass him,” Richard Sherman vowed that day.
For some reason I think Crabtree’s take on the altercation might be a little different.
Anyways, fuel was added to the fire last week when Crabtree apparently said that Sherman wasn’t the best corner in the league.
Here’s why Sherman was ticked. Crabtree was asked this week if Sherman was the best CB in @nfl : “Uh, no, I don’t think so.”

So after Sherman’s game saving play and his getting in the face of Crabtree afterwards, the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver took to Twitter this morning to further voice his opinion on the outspoken Seahawk.
Film don’t lie… @nflnetwork@espn pull up the tape of that game and show me where this guy is the best? #fake#fake#fake

Unsurprisingly Sherman shot back… on Twitter…

I can already see the headlines leading up to next year’s match up between these two teams.
