Preseason match ups in any sport will lack attendance in comparison to the what a regular season game will garner, that’s a given. However I’m hoping the NHL is taking some notes in terms of preseason scheduling based off these pictures from the Panthers/Predators game at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
Not only was this the preseason opener for both teams but the National Hockey League has found it necessary for some reason to schedule double-headers for meaningless games. I’m also pretty positive the 2:30 pm start on a Monday didn’t help matters, not to mention we’re still talking about NHL hockey in Southern Florida.
