Penn State defensive back Lamont Wade had a pretty clear message printed on his pregame shirt after a member of the Nittany Lions team received a letter from some anonymous racist shit bag who was claiming to be an alumnus of the University.

That letter penned by a “proud older graduate” of Penn State was sent to Nittany Lions defensive lineman Jonathan Sutherland complaining about his “awful hair” (his dreadlocks) and “disgusting tattoos and immature antics” which have driven him and his wife away from the NFL.

I can only assume this letter was written over a glass of Metamucil but I digress.

Wade, on the other hand, showed solidarity for his teammate by wearing a shirt that read “Chains, tattoos, dreads & WE ARE” during the pregame at Iowa Saturday. That solidarity ended though with the players as the University decided that standing up for a player against boomer racist shitheads was going a little too far as they took a “handful” of shirts away from players according to Nittany Lions beat writer Audrey Snyder.
