20 years ago today, the Detroit Tigers played their final game at Tiger Stadium which resulted in a 8-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals.
It was also a game when Robert Fick became somewhat of a legend in Tigers team lore when his grand slam in the eighth inning became the final hit, home run and RBI in the Stadium’s long history.
Anyways, here’s Todd Jones striking out then rookie Carlos Beltran for the final out.
