šŸˆ The Lions could trade Darius Slay if an extension isnā€™t reached soon

Despite not pulling the trigger on a trade last season the future of Lions corner Darius Slay is still very much in question.

According to ESPNā€™s Jeremy Fowler, the Pro Bowl defensive back could be dealt by Detroit if a deal on a contract extension isnā€™t agreed to within the coming weeks.

The Lions ended up holding onto Slay prior to the trade deadline in 2019 after opposing teams balked at Detroitā€™s asking price. The situation though between the Lions and Slay gets a little more dire for both sides in 2020 as the corner will be entering the final season of a deal thatā€™ll pay out $12.04-million dollars in annual salary.
