Things got heated this afternoon between Florida and Vanderbilt when a Gators player put a heavy crack-back block on a Commodore during a UF punt return. That in and of itself resulted in a verbal and physical scuffle between the two teams while featuring the head coaches of both teams trading unpleasantries.
As UF head coach Dan Mullen and Vandy head coach Derek Mason screamed back-and-forth at each other, Gators defensive coordinator Todd Grantham seemed to yell in Mason’s direction as well.

As a result of the play and ensuing commotion, Florida’s James Houston IV was kicked out of the game for targeting and both teams getting unsportsmanlike penalties. And in light of that, Florida’s Vosean Joseph was also kicked out of the game after it was determined that the team unsportsmanlike penalty was actually Joseph’s second of the game after acquiring one earlier.
That didn’t sit well with Joseph:
