Peyton Manning and Colts owner Jim Irsay officially parted ways Wednesday officially enabling teams to go out and sign the biggest free agent on the market this offseason.

In a move that was largely business related, the Colts will save roughly $28 million dollars which was due to the veteran QB Manning who has spent his entire 14 year career with the team.

The move also enables the Colts to rebuild around Stanford QB Andrew Luck whom the Colts will certainly draft with the No. 1 pick in April’s draft.

Despite the obvious though surrounding Luck, there still has to be plenty of concern as to how the young quarterback will adapt to a system that suffered tremendously without the veteran leadership of Manning. Can Luck step in and show some sentiments of promise with an offense that will seriously lack talent and experience?
