Who says preseason hockey doesn’t mean anything? Just don’t let the Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs know that as things got crazy in Toronto when Buffalo’s John Scott went after Maple Leafs forward Phil Kessel whose only defense was a series of golf chips with his stick.
And of course this ended up resulting in a goalie fight between Jonathan Bernier and Ryan Miller which is a necessity of any good hockey brawl. That and David Clarkson of the Leafs jumping off the bench something that could earn him a 10-game suspension.
