Looking to protect a then 14 lead in the fourth quarter, Michigan QB Devin Gardner made a huge blunder running into his own end zone. But not only did he run into his own end zone he ended up throwing the ball away to Notre Dame defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt who made a diving catch or the touchdown.

Now there’s no doubt that Gardner should’ve taken the safety but in the end it didn’t even matter, Michigan went on to beat the Irish 41-30.

Less learned though for Gardner going forward.
