The United States women secured their spot in the gold medal game when they defeated Sweden 6-1 from Sochi.
Team USA’s Megan Bozek and Brianna Decker each had 3 points in the victory the United States as a whole peppered Sweden in shots 70-9.
The U.S. will now await their opponent as Canada takes on Switzerland today in the other semi final game which will probably once again give us a United States/Canada rematch from four years ago.
