He’s back…

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles will sign quarterback (we think he’s still a quarterback) Tim Tebow to a one-year deal essentially meaning Skip Bayless’ pants just got a little tighter tonight.

The Eagles originally brought in ESPN’s poster child for a workout back on March 16th and had every intention of signing him IF they were able to trade backup QB Matt Barkley. However as of April 19th, Barkley is still on the roster as well as a slew of other retreads including Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez as well as G.J. Kinney. Essentially though (even with Bradford still nursing an ACL injury) Tebow likely becomes the fourth quarterback on the depth chart meaning the Philadelphia Eagles better be ready for an onslaught of media attention for another guy to help distribute the ball during practice. However for ESPN’s sake, things are a lot more fun for them reporting on Tebow’s latest NFL ventures instead of putting him in front of a camera to talk about Nick Saban’s 2016 incoming class.
