The NFL released their 2012 schedule Tuesday evening and after a very public offseason for the Manning brothers they will both take center stage opening weekend.

Super Bowl champion Eli Manning and the New York Giants will open the season up on Wednesday, September 5th against the Dallas Cowboys from Giants Stadium. Meanwhile Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a playoff rematch Sunday, September 9th at 8:30PM ET on NBC Sunday Night Football.

The now-traditional Monday night opening doubleheader has Cincinnati at Baltimore, followed by San Diego at Oakland.

A 14-week package of Thursday night games begins in Week 2 with Chicago at Green Bay. The Thanksgiving games are Houston at Detroit, Washington at Dallas and, in prime time, New England at the New York Jets.
