With Texas A&M out of the Big 12 and TCU in questions now arise as to whether or not TCU will simply just take over the A&M games next season.

ESPN SEC blogger Edward Aschoff says that it’s simply not as easy as that.

For instance the Longhorns would still like to play on Thanksgiving and as of right now there is no guarantee that TCU will be their opponent in that game. Texas Tech is likely to be the alternative.

Furthermore, TCU has a game scheduled against Oklahoma so the question now arises as to whether or not it will be a conference game between the two of if other arrangements will be made. Aschoff says that if there are any changes, particularly to the Oklahoma/TCU game, the Sooners may look to add Arkansas to their schedule in 2012.
