According to various sources including ESPN.com, a four-team trade that would send Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers is complete.

The ESPN.com report states that the Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams.

Furthermore the Magic are expected to acquire other pieces in the trade including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless.

Another interesting aspect to this deal is whether or not Andrew Bynum will sign a long-term deal to stay with the 76ers. Bynum who grew up just about an hour away from Philadelphia in Plainsboro, N.J. is entering the final year of his deal. However it’s been rumored could sign a three-year, $60 million extension.

Nonetheless the trade will end Howard’s tenure in Orlando that ended tenuously the last couple of years. After voicing his displeasure with the team, Dwight Howard ran himself out of Central Florida after demanding a trade during the offseason.

Howard is also entering the final year of his deal and it’s unclear whether or not he’ll re-sign with the Lakers.
