Seahawks

Aside from Kam Chancellor, last night’s hero for the Seahawks was K.J. Wright who knocked the ball out of the back of the end zone after the Calvin Johnson fumble sealing the 13-10 win for Seattle over the Lions.

Wright after the game admitted he intentionally batted the ball out-of-bounds since he didn’t want to take the chance of falling on top of it.

Wright even took time to discuss the play with Scott Ferrall of Ferrall on the Bench after the game was over:

However as the interview went on, and fans started to realize what Wright did was actually illegal and should have been called, the Seahawks linebacker was told to hang up and end the interview by head coach Pete Carroll:

Carroll even admitted upon the conclusion of the game that the call was botched but what else can you expect him or Wright to do at this point? This isn’t a Seahawks issue, this is strictly an NFL issue dealing once again with their officials missing a call that very well could have affected the outcome of this game.
