Rory McIlroy won his second career major in dominating fashion Sunday winning the PGA Championship Tournament from The Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

McIlroy capitalized on his 67 third round with a 66 Sunday and didn’t have a bogey in the final round of play. In addition McIlroy’s eight stroke victory surpassed Jack Nicklaus in 1980 for the largest margin of victory in PGA Championship history.

To further add to McIlroy’s accomplishments, he’s won two majors at a younger age than Tigers Woods when he won his first two career majors. Both won the PGA Championship at the age of 23 which will be interesting to see where McIlroy goes from here. This is considering after Woods’ PGA Championship victory is when he really began to take his play to the next level.
