UFC

After weeks of speculation, the UFC has finally sold.

According to reports, the World’s biggest MMA League sold for $4 billion dollars to to a group led by WME-IMG. It’s the biggest sale within sport leaving many UFC fans and members of the organization excited for what the future holds.

First, current UFC president Dana White will remain in his current role while Zuffa’s Lorenzo Fertitta will step down from day-to-day operations.

Second, WME-IMG may be just what the UFC needs to bring it to that next level.

You may be thinking what the UFC could possibly do to make itself bigger?

Well, I guess that has yet to be seen however the UFC has been presented with a golden opportunity to become even bigger with the way their 2016 could finish up. Brock Lesnar‘s return played a huge impact on the company and was even more successful with his win over Mark Hunt at UFC 200. Additionally, the UFC still has the Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor rematch on the books for August, the return of Ronda Rousey and possibly CM Punk making his debut later on in the year.

You needed a company committed to growing the UFC and on the surface it seems like they’ve foudn that in WME-IMG.
