Last week Kansas City cornerback Marcus Peters expressed support for Colin Kaepernick and his silent protest of the National Anthem. This week, Peters reaffirmed that support by raising his first during the Anthem while the rest of the Chiefs (including Peters) interlocked arms in solidarity.

The Chiefs released a statement in regards to interlocking arms but didn’t mention Peters raising his first.

This isn’t the first nor the last time we’ll continue to see something like this not only in the NFL but across college and professional sports in general.
