Henrik Lundqvist turned away 40-shots as the New York Rangers held off the Kings to win 2-1 in Game 4 from Madison Square Garden avoiding a sweep in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Martin St. Louis scored the game winning goal for New York in the 2nd period which was his 8th of the playoffs.

However it was Lundqvist who once again stole the show in an elimination game for the Blue Shirts as he was able to sustain a surging Kings team who outshot the Rangers 15-1 in the third period. Not only that though the Kings were this close to tying up Game 4 late in the third period.

In part, New York fans can thank that late period MSG snow for this series shifting back to Lipstick City.
