LSU running back Leonard Fournette continues to make his early candidacy for Heisman trophy

In a 34-24 LSU win over Syracuse, the sophomore running back rushed for 244 yards on 26 attempts plus two touchdowns. Yeah that’s pretty impressive on its own. Hell, 100 yards rushing would make for a good day.

However what was truly impressive to say the absolute very least is just last week Fournette torched Auburn for 228 yards on 19 attempts and three touchdowns in a 45-21 win.

So that would give Fournette two consecutive games with 200-plus yards over the course of two weeks making him the first player in LSU history to do so.

Shaq even believes Fournette will win the Heisman… Although I’m sure that sentiment didn’t start with him.
