Kentucky’s undefeated season is still intact but their run for perfection was put to a serious test Saturday night.

Up 68-66 with 6 seconds left, Kentucky was able to hold Notre Dame off on their final possession to clinch a spot in the Final Four against Wisconsin.

With Notre Dame leading during 11 minutes of the second half, the Wildcats were able to keep their composure and the contest close enough to as John Calipari put it at the end of the game, make enough plays to come out on top.

Kentucky didn’t do themselves any favors though, committing 11 turnovers while having some trouble hitting crucial free throws late. That was however until Andrew Harrison made two free throws with six seconds remaining to propel Kentucky to the win.

Karl-Anthony Towns had 25 points to lead the Wildcats while Zach Auguste had 20 for the Fighting Irish who finished their year 32-6.
