Saying Cam Newton took a beating Thursday night against the Broncos is probably an understatement. Especially considering Denver pretty much had open season on the Panthers quarterback and could probably get away with everything but actually decapitating Mr. Newton.
Anyways, here’s every hit to Cam’s head in the NFL regular season opener.
Needless to say the NFL’s concussion protocol and the protection of Cam Newton Thursday night was a joke. It makes you wonder what steps the officials would have taken if it was Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers under center?
